Hello blogging world. We are alive and happy here at the Atkinson house.... that's right people we have a house now! we bought a house at the beginning of the year and let me tell you those 6-7 months of searching were well worth it. This house is perfect for our little family and situation and we love it more every day. Our situation you ask? Our situation is just this, an adorable 18 month old, wonderful Daddy and an expecting Momma! That's right people! I am pregnant and due in April, the same week of Chases 2 year old birthday! We are VERY excited for this :) So far this pregnancy has been a lot like the last one, just that I've been very sick. Unfortunately it has been worse since I keep having to get IV therapy for hydration just to stay functioning! I am happy to say though that I think I can finally see a light at the end of this tunnel! I don't throw up every day and for the first time in in some very long weeks I didn't have IV treatment this week! :) good news right?
Warning: do not continue if you get sick easy
So I want to address the title of this blog, laughed so hard you what? First of all know since about August we have been a family of hermits. I've been unable to leave the house and we've just been battling the flu and morning sickness for what seems like forever. Poor Chaser boy is allergic to milk we think, so we are keeping food diaries and tracking what makes him sick to avoid in the future. ANYWAYS, just last night we decided to run an errand and I was feeling so good we decided we would try going out to eat to Chili's! This, as anybody who has bad morning sickness knows, is a huge deal. Because restaurants smell ha ha. So we got our food and were eating when we noticed Chase had stopped. He got that look... the look that we have learned to dread! We knew then something did not agree with him and any second he was going to lose it! Christian immediately jumped to action, picking up Chase looks at me as he runs towards the door he calls back for me to get the check. Unfortunately, Chase did not make it to the curb of Chili's, in fact they did not even make it around the corner to the front door... and Christian was unable to catch all the evidence in his jacket(gross I know, what a good Daddy) There were two very full tables of older people who had the unfortunate grossness all over the floor next to their tables. I say old because they all were obviously very shocked at the little boy who let it all out. Not only were there old men gagging at the tables but people were covering their noses and exclaiming things and of course EVERYBODY was staring at me. I still can hardly contain myself, knowing my little boy is okay now that he has that out of his tummy, and just having had a lot on our plates lately, there were a few reactions I could have chosen.. but there I sat just laughing, and laughing, and laughing!! I got my Waiter to get the check and boxes and sat bouncing in my booth trying to not make eye contact with anybody but the young families around me who were obviously understandable and even smirking along with me. Probably the longest five minutes I've had in a very long time of awkward stares, covered laughs and I'm sure everybody thinking I'm such a bad Mom for laughing at this! I finally was able to get my boxes, fill my arms with 3 coats, hats, wallets, and diaper bag and make my way out the door. Only to get to the car where christian sat shirtless, and chase wearing only an extra jacket we keep in the car. They both were soaked to the bone and waiting for the keys so we could turn the car on. considering it was snowing outside I'm very glad we keep extra blankets/ jackets in the car just in case. Just then I kept laughing and laughing and Christian just wanted to know... Did a lot hit the floor? what happened? did anybody say anything? I just couldn't get the story out I laughed until I cried and then I laughed until I gagged and heaved!
I can honestly say I cannot remember the last time I laughed that hard, and it certainly isn't normal for me to be heaving just from laughing so hard. One more fun symptom of being pregnant and having a crazy gag reflex I guess.
So I know I haven't blogged in forever, but I need to remember this story, and with that I've decided my next post will be picture catch up and we can continue on as if I am a regular blogger!
I hope you all liked this embarrassingly hilarious story as much as I did, and I can't wait for a few more weeks when I will be telling you the gender of our soon to be newest family member!

I'm sorry you are still sooo sick! That is the worst! I love this story mainly because I have noticed that everything is way more funny when you are pregnant! My husband just stares at me and has to remind me that it really wasn't THAT funny.. which makes it even funnier! I'm excited to hear what you are having!
LOL oh my goodness! That was an awesome story! I'm glad you were able to find humor in it instead of the breaking down in tears. It seemed to go one way or the other for me when I was pregnant... crazy hormones. CONGRATS on the new pregnancy but so sorry you haven't been feeling well :( Hope it continues to get better!
